BRIAN BRANISLAV RAŠIĆ/ 40 PIX is a representative exhibition of photographs of the greatest rock'n'roll band ever, the Rolling Stones.

The exhibition was aimed at promoting B. Rašić, a distinguished professional who, doing what he liked best, found his place in the capital of rock, media and music industry. The Museum of Applied Art, in cooperation with British Council, organized the exhibition announcing the unfortunately cancelled concert of the Rolling Stones. The exhibition was held in the Museum from 27 March to 7 April 2003, whereof it set on a tour of other Serbian towns and the Balkans.

“Photographing music”, Rašić traveled the world, witnessed the greatest rock concerts, met rock legends. He has published his work in the most prominent professional newspapers and magazines – the Times, Times magazine, the Daily Mirror, NME, Melody Maker, Q, Select, Big, FHM, Mojo, the Sun, Music Express, Playboy.

During the last decade, Rašić has been the exclusive photographer of Rex Features agency (the second biggest in the world), and his photographs are published in the most read newspapers and magazines, books, catalogues, on posters, T-shirts, picture postcards and encyclopedias.

On opening of the exhibition, the author had a meeting with the viewers on the topic of Photographing music.
